QSPP Annual Fee

QSPP charges an annual fee to cover the cost of providing accreditation.

The annual fee includes:

  • access to the QSPP User Assessment Guide
  • access to AS85000:2024
  • one QSPP on‑site assessment every three years
  • one mid‑cycle review in the second year of the three‑year cycle
  • accreditation services, including certification against AS85000:2024
  • a certificate of accreditation (per accreditation cycle)
  • accreditation pack, including window decal, logos and social media materials
  • a suite of resources and guides on the dedicated QSPP Knowledge Hub
  • interpretation and rulings advice on QSPP Requirements

Cancellation Policy

As part of the QSPP annual fee, pharmacies receive one initial or reaccreditation in‑person assessment per accreditation cycle.

If you cancel a scheduled on‑site assessment within 10 calendar days of the scheduled date, you will automatically forfeit the assessment included in the annual fee. The cost of scheduling a replacement assessment is $880.

Cancellation Fee Timeline

If you need to reschedule the virtual assessment element of accreditation, you must provide at least two business days’ notice or the fee of $165 will apply.

Payment Methods

BPAY: Payment can be made online or by calling your financial institution. Your customer reference number will be different each time your annual QSPP invoice is issued, so be sure to check before making payment. BPAY is our preferred method of payment.

Credit card: Paying via MasterCard and Visa does not incur a surcharge. Pharmacies that pay QSPP fees via AMEX will be charged a 1.95% + GST surcharge.

Other payment options: QSPP also offers surcharge‑free payment options including cheque, EFT, and payment through the customer portal via Eway.

Pro‑rata Payments and Refunds

Pro‑rata payments or refunds are not available under any circumstances. This includes pharmacies that cease trading, merge or transfer ownership.
