Program Overview
The QSPP is Australia’s contemporary accreditation program for community pharmacies
It provides a nationally consistent framework for quality, safety and clinical governance. It assures patients, government and the broader healthcare system that accredited pharmacies deliver care aligned with the Australian Community Pharmacy Standard AS85000:2024.
QSPP builds on the strong foundations established under the QCPP, and reflects the evolution of community pharmacy practice and supports the growing role of community pharmacies in primary healthcare.
How the Program works
QSPP accreditation is structured around:
- A three-year accreditation cycle which includes a mid-cycle review
- Assessment against four domains
- Accreditation aligned to your clinical service level
- A structured registration and assessment process
- Transparent program fees
Each element is designed to keep accreditation practical, credible and aligned to contemporary practices.
